Interview With British Actor David Ajala
Samuel Eni caught up with British Actor David Ajala, to talk about recent projects, family life, BBC mini series beowolf, collaborating with Noel Clarke on Brotherhood and returning to theatre for a special performance in One Night In Miami.
“The struggles and the pressures of being celebrities not just in the world, but in the black community and the pressure of being you know a black man at that time that specific time when the civil rights movement was happening and you hear all of their different arguments as to you know because its all about leadership they’re trying to work out what’s the best way I can use my platform to push us forward as a people because they don’t have the luxury of being like well you know I’m just going to do my thing I don’t have to worry about my people they understand the responsibility that they have because celebrities and talents on that level you don’t have many of them so they’re very aware that they have to be a beacon of light and pass on the baton you know and it’s a wonderful play to be apart of”
The interview shows an insight to the man David has become whilst flying back and forth from Hollywood and juggling the family life, whilst experiencing changes in his work life to become a better actor.
